MAKING MY FINAL GARMENT

My rough sketch of it.
i am planning on using polyester on the top..yes its panneled and i will put piping to give the illusion of a tux.
its kinda sexy and can be worn with a blazer.well i started the shape toile.and so far.....

dont mind the bottles back there i need all the energy trust me.

i did a flared skirt and added a piece on the side an it looked like a godet skirt.i want it really flared like very flared.

the top is panneled as you can see.and has darts on the breast.dont think that its a good idea.

DESIGN PROJECT.

I am doing my second year first  term project.
am basing it on emotions an i chose graceful.inspired by dancers and their bodies their movements and their facial expressions.

i love how it all combines into one .that flexibility,they make it look so damn easy.

i took the feature of vulnerability ,flexibility and how they move and decided to use soft fabric.like silk or something like that.i also decided to join that with their toned bodies,hard curves and used cotton faric.

so my line board........of course its autumn winter 2013 have to remember to change that.










i also decided to use spring summer 2013 colors but i don't think ill use those.too bright for my collection.i am using black,gold maybe red, a nice sky blue and a beautiful green.









sooo my texture board will also show the different contrasting fabrics that i will use.i don't think i really represented that properly  but ill change it before i give my presentation.










And finally my consumer.she is a fashion editor.25 of age.is single with boyfriend.they live separately.likes classic made clothes that are unique.she wants something that will take her to the office and a dinner party in the evening for a fashion event.does loads of travelling ,is good at her work.dresses in ready to wear.really expensive taste.eats in fine dine restaurants drinks expensive wine and exported chocolate.meets the likes of presidents and most celebrities are on her contact lists.
is crazy about her health so works out.dedicated to her work.she loves watching theater loves learning about culture.wears Alexandria McQueen jewellery Dior make up Chanel make up Marc Jacobs design mostly into lambotini shoes
